Welcome to the official website of the Indian Society for Paediatric Neurosurgery. Due to certain unavoidable reasons the website could not be updated. This has now been rectified and wears a new look.

Dear Friends,

It has been a great honour to serve as president of the Indian Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery over the last 2 years.

We have now over 140 members and hold regular annual meetings, ISPNCMEs and several of our mbers are conducting Pediatric neurosurgery CMEs. We also have a friendship meting with the Korean society for pediatric neurosurgery later this year and the privilege to hold the international society meeting in 2011 in Goa.

We have to consolidate these activities and develop an interactive forum to develop the interests of pediatric neurosurgery further in the country. This is especially important as we are catering to probably the largest no of children with neurosurgical diseases in the whole world. This allows us a huge opportunity to learn from and these lessons can be useful to everyone on the world on the world platform.

Dr. Sandip Chatterji and Chidambaram are putting together an excellent scientific program and Korean participation will add some exotic flavour. Dr. Tomita is arranging a very good CME with ISPN facultyor in Kolkatta in 1st week November.

Looking foreward to meeting you all there. We have revived the website which will soon have new information pages and I am hoping to start a page for case discussion by next month. I would welcome any suggestions for further improvement of the website.
